Sooo yesterday I went to change my headlight bulb myself and accidentally broke the clip that houses the bulb in the socket was wondering if anyone had an extra one or a place where I can buy it . Idk how to describe the piece but it hold the bulb in place in the socket of the headlamp assembly ! My car is a 2007 e90 328xi Pre Lci if that helps ! Thanks

Looks sorta like this

Spring / clip to hold the bulb in the socket properly

Take it to a bmw dealership and have a technician come out and try to identify the part maybe they can order it for you if they still make it, I know there are some websites out there where you can order oem parts for your bmw
