VISITING CHICAGO (tips & suggestions greatly appreciated)

Hi Everyone,

I'm going to be visiting Chicago for work in early August but I'm getting there a couple of days earlier and was seeing if anyone had any suggestions with regards to affordable hotels that are in central areas or within a reasonable distance to take the CTA to get to downtown. Many thanks in advance!

I dont really have much of a preference, for work I'll be staying near the Loop, but hotels around there are a little too rich for my blood for the first couple of days that I'm not on the company dime.

I guess just anywhere that is decently priced and to wear I can easily take CTA around to get from place to place.

Thanks for the suggestion, hotel looks really nice, but $289/nt is a killer!

Thanks for the suggestion, unfortunately they dont have any rooms available during my stay, looks like a good deal though!
