Site says it will work on vehicles from 1998-2010.
Will it work for the 2011 models?

I'm not positive, but I think you're fine as long as it's an e9x model. If you have an F30 then I think the interface changed to the cable with the ethernet connection. I just ordered one as well for my '08 E92, they were out of stock until yesterday.

Ok, just ordered one. Yes it is a 2011 e90. Build date is 9/2010.

I have that cable. It works well. Just coded a 2012 X5 with all sorts of fun things!

That is the best cable to get. It uses an FTDI chip unlike some other lower quality ones.
