is he using a lens that distorts the proportions? in both pictures, the center/focal point of the photos look like theyre small and then everything around it gets larger....?

it looks like a staggered setup (rears a bit more concave), with Falken 452s upfront and bit stretched Nitto Invos on the back.

Not the case, the front's are 19x8.5 ET 42 with a 15mm spacer on top, and the rears are a 19x19 ET 25. You can tell the rears are wider by looking at how much more concave the rears are.
