I noticed that you're from SoCal, the OC. If you want info on mods, you need to be at the M.O.M this Saturday July 14, at Mile Square Park in Santa Ana. There will be at least around 100+ E90s for you to choose from to get ideas on mods and such...

Here's the link.

Cheers!

Welcome to the forum.

Even tho the cellphone pics you put up are crappy Im sure the car is beautiful.

Im not a big wheel guy but DPE and Iforge are two companies that i like, they make some quality wheels but it will put a dent in your wallet.

I would try to install the Ipod connector at a local shop if you can, the dealer install would def. be more expensive, at least at my dealership.

Some simple mods you can do now is: Get your reflectors painted to match the color of your car, Black kidney grilles, front aero-kit, rear deck spoiler, debadge, charcoal filter delete, etc
im sure theres a ton more things you can do.

have fun modding~

debtxpert, welcome to the forum!

I have an E92 335i with the dealer-installed iPod adapter (better known as MOST iPod adapter).

It's okay... if you have lots of playlists and if you maintain your playlists. It loads the playlists instantly, however, if you want to search using a different view (artist, genre, etc...) it is slow. When turning it on, it will default to playlists, and usually loads within a few seconds. When changing to sort by artist, it takes longer if you have more artists. Mine takes at least 3 minutes to load. Furthermore, there is a 500 listing limit, so my artists only load to the letter "L".

I too have the "too much bass" problem with my iPod. So, for me to play normally, I have to lower the bass to the minimum.

If you are not busy Saturday, please come out to the BIG SoCal E90/91/92/93 meet in Fountain Valley. You can get lots of ideas and meet others who also have the mod bug.

Again, thank you very much and next time I'll have some better looking pics. Just haven't had the time to do anything...I'm lucky I did the tint.

Actually, anyone needing a tint person in the OC area, call Phil Brito 949-279-2982 or 714-376-3624. He has a mobile shop and will tint your windows while you are at work or at your home and he only does BMW tint. I'm definitely pleased with his work and it was only about $200.00.
Make sure you sign up for the meet. Use that link and RSVP to Ksfrogman so he can get a good head-count. It'll be sort of like a BBQ and social atmosphere. It should be lotsa fun. My very first E90 meet too.
