Let me simplify my question again. Do the buttons to the heated seats get plugged into the head unit? I can't see why the car would be wired this way. But I also can't see why the unit would affect these buttons if this were not the case.

As I've consulted our tech, yes for the future products, the buttons to the heated seats get plugged into the head unit. The reason why the current unit would affect these buttons is the unit's shape and the internal can bus decoder.

Do I need a relocation kit for this to work?

The can bus of our D5114 BMW E90 GPS won't affect the functions in your car other than the power/lightening/reverse/steering wheel control. So the Diagnostics should be no problem, you don't need a relocation for this to work. Welcome to buy!

Hi Goofyguy, our D5114 is plug and play for the car with no heated seat buttons.
About the your hifi stereo, I've heard it's fiber cable ones with with digital signal right? If so, our unit can't work with it, our unit can work with analog speakers/amp. Hope you can understand, thanks!

Now a great news to tell you that, the next batch of D5114 can work with heated seat buttons without problem, the factory has resolved this issue successfully!

for about 2/3's the price of the Dynavin this looks to be a good deal...if i didn't have my Dynavin already i would have definately went with this one. I especially like the built in microphone you guys have since I don't know where to put mine (the dynavin one)

I have the Hifi, that is not the fiber but its low level inputs the amp in the trunk. Still 4 channels to the amp, the amp splits it out to the 10 speakers. Basicly the Low level outputs coming off the stereo should be wired as the signal speakers as the low level radio is if that makes sense.

As well I can relocate the seat buttons, as long as they would still function.

Hi Goofyguy, thanks for your confirmation. If your hifi stereo is not the fiber but just with analog signal, and 4 channels to the amp, it should work with our D5114 without problem. Cheers!
