I also had a chance to check out the dimming feature. Seems like it's very quick compared to the slow fade in/out from stock bulbs.
I think that your photo looks normal for daytime. The Cree lights look pretty good for the price.

LED's shouldn't burn out as it was designed to outlast the life of your car but sometimes wires get loose, powerpacks burn out resistors go bad etc etc. You have a 1 year warranty.

personally, I can tell you if the LED's you got is from a bad batch, you will know really soon, as it will start acting up. but if it works fine, for a couple months, it should stay that way.

Thanks gal

What you guys think should I get these D-TEC leds I really can't make up my mind since there's so many different makes and the prices vary soo much. I don't want it too expensive like the LUX but I really want to buy a good pair of bright LEDs

I'm not sure how Gaifaun always has such a great experience with his vendors...but I am definitely not as satisfied. I took a comparison photo of these and the stock bulbs and the stock bulbs are much brighter.

These pictures were taken with a D5100 with the 35mm NIKKOR lens. f/3.5 1/50sec ISO-200 full manual exposure so you can expect them to be quite objective.

I just send an email to Derrick at E92 lighting asking what the heck is going on. I hope he gets back to me soon...

Was going to get Lux, but after reading this post I think the choice is obvious.

We have actually done some pretty extensive testing with these and came up with some pretty shocking findings about them that might surprise most people. While the physical design might look similar to our LUX H8 V3's there are some things you should know about them

- The power supply is not fused at all. in case of a power surge or other failure of the unit it could very easily short out causing electrical damage, or even melt itself causing significant damage inside the headlight compartment

- These units never run at full brightness, and dim to 1/3 total power when the headlights turn on. While being rated at 1500 lumen these product at best 230-250 lumen while the headlights are on. The brightest we measured them was at 550 - 580 lumen.

- No EMI Protection which means there could be significant radio interference.

Out LUX H8 V3 LED Angel eyes do Not dim, are fully fused and protected, and do not produce EMI. We want to just make people aware of what they are looking into buying and be aware of the potential dangers with these.

Where in South Florida are you? You still have these angel eye bulbs installed, or did you take them out given the TPMS issues you experienced?

Yeah right and the lux cost a ton of money, lower the price so more people would buy your angel eyes and be happy!

Got a similar set for Christmas and am really happy with them. Here is the link: 20W CREE LED Angel Eye Bulbs

Nice, bright, white light. Visible during the day (as much as any other, at least), and they look fantastic at night. Plus, the price is great.

I had the same experience with these installed. My TPMS showed a malfunction as well. How did you resolve the issue?

You don't need the error-canceling resistors. At least I didn't...

I don't have any interference with my TPMS system with my set. Been working flawlessly since I installed them.
