Telephone software

Hi guys.

Does anyone know how to find out what the latest software is for the telephone in cic. I'm having an issue with my phone and wondered if I just need the latest software.

My current version isTX-003.005.006.

Thanks in advance if anyone can help troubleshoot this with me.

I am sure there is a later update.

Put your VIN in here and it should say, http://www.bmw.com/com/en/owners/con...re_update.html

So you have a retrofitted CIC with combox?

If so, that would be the latest software, UPD..8.bin something..

To make sure it is the Combox at fault, have you tried with a different phone?

Not retrofitted. It's the professional system, I need to test another phone actually. Will do that tomorrow and report back.

Hi guys. Update so far. Tried my old phone, Samsung s3 but I phoned a friend before I connected to the car and he couldn't here me. Once connected he still couldn't here me. So it seems that old s3 is a bust. No other phone around to test at this time. What a ball ache haha

Just tested with my house mates iPhone 6. Does the same thing as my note 4. So if it isn't needing a software update it must be a hardware problem. Any ideas as to what hardware it could be? Was really hoping it was just software.
