I have these in my car, check out my review thread here! http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...4#post12364574 And here's a nice little shot for you of how they look in real life! This is at 8:30, and this is quite accurate as to how they look at this time of day.

That was the original plan when we got together for a photoshoot, but at the time, the 12W's were out of stock. But I would do the 20W's in a heartbeat, for the small amount of money the 20W's cost more than the 12W's.

If your looking for more output and even distribution between inner and outer I would recommend the 20 watt for sure. The 12 watt is a nice solution for the price but these 20 watts definitely outperform the 12 watt hands down.

Hey guys, just had my 20w Cree 4 led installed. I was a bit confused initially as I had ordered the 12W but HPB sent me a letter saying that the product was sent to me as a tester. I had been running GP Thunder H8 Angel Eyes for a while - not the brightest to say the least. Especially when the HIDs are running the GP Thunders dim quite a lot.
The build of the product is great, very robust. Installation was easy, took no more than 20 minutes for both Angel Eyes to be swapped and installed. Have been running the 4 Cree LED's for around 2 weeks now and they're amazing. I've only uploaded pics of them taken in the garage, but even in daylight they're really bright. I would have to say the inner ring is extremely bright, but the outer ring isn't bad at all. Seen LUX 5k in person (in a different lighting situation) but to me these are very much comparable to LUX (imo if not better) - and at a much greater value too. To sum it up, aside from a slightly slow delivery I can't be happier with the purchase. Old GP Thunder H8 ![]() Installed with HID on ![]() HID's off, Angel eyes are slightly bluer than the LED strip ![]() ![]() Last edited by YoungGuns; 07-25-2012 at 03:00 AM. |

Just ordered... I'll post some pics of my e92 in here once they arrive/installed.
I have high hopes, i've waited for something that touches LUX without the retarded price they ask. Dont let me down HPB!! ![]() |

I think you will be pleased knowing you saved a ton of cash and the output is extremely comparable. I've seen these in person, there is nothing about them that I feel needs improvement. I've seen the 6 watt and 12 watt and now these 20 watt. Highly recommend the 20watt.

So... no-go on '07 coupes? If so, that's a damn shame.

Don't all E92s use H8s for AEs?
