Question Diamondite glass repair system -- Glass Scratch Repair?

Okay here's the dirt,,,, I have some minor scratches in the rear quarter side light on my e90. Scratches came from 220 grit sand paper (don't ask). They can be felt a bit with a fingernail.

I've read that if the scratch can be felt with a fingernail it can't be repaired. The product claimes to be for minor to moderate scratches in glass. So I was curious if anyone has tried this product with any success.

I am trying to figure if I should give it a try or if I am screwed and need to replace.

I used Diamondite on my windshield as it had thousands of tiny "etchings" pock marking the glass. I have not tried it with a glass polishing pad on my PC 7424xp yet but by hand it really did not improve the clarity.

You're working on a plastic housing. Grab you DA polisher and I would do an m105, m205 and 85RD and should clean up perfectly.

I decided to buy new glass -- it was only $56 and install is $95, so a it's a tad more than the Diamondite but a hell of a lot easier.
