Amber Transmission light - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Hi all,

Above is the picture of the error that I had last week.
This is the 4th time I have this error and still BMW insists there's nothing wrong with my car.

What could be the problem anyone?

Just a guess but something's wrong with your tranny. If BMW keeps saying they can't duplicate just sit there and power brake until you blow the tranny. That will surely allow them something to find.

Seriously though. How many miles? Leaking fluid? Might be time to change the fluid pan and filter. Rebuilds are expensive, 6k for mine. 325 Step

Finally they found something wrong.
They checked the car and found that the 4th & 5th gears were worn out so they will get me a new Gearbox and fit it in soon. In the mean time I must continue driving and be a little bit kind to the gearbox
