What's the reason for selling? Didn't you just put these on at the beginning of summer?

I am planning to track the car soon.

As i mentioned in this thread
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=576647

The rear callipers need a rotor size of 324x22 to work flawlessly. There is 10% of the pads that doesn't sit on the 300x20 rotors.

And there isn't any company that makes those size for the 328,323 (only for 1 series). 135 series and 328/323 s have different parking shoes. therefore i can't fit 1 series rotors in my car.

The only car that can rock these brakes flawlessly, is a 330.

If there isn't enough interest, i will just keep the fronts and put back the stock rears with some hawk pads.

Aren`t the rear rotors hub sizes only meant for cars that have the larger parking brake? Unless you can get rotors to fit the smaller size parking brake, what you posted above isn't entirely accurate.

I have done a lot of research on this when I did my 335 conversion. I know 328i have smaller size parking brakes (meaning 335 rear rotors wouldn't fit without some serious modification)

Please correct what I said wrong. Would appreciate it.

I am sure someone with a 330 can run the whole set, tho.

Okay..let me clarify.

The problem with running these setups for the rear on our platforms is that the hub on the rotor is dependant on what size parking brakes you have.

The way the parking brakes work is that when you pull on the handle, the shoes press against the rotor to prevent the car from rolling.

Unfortunately, not all 3 series have the same size parking shoe size
The 2 standard sizes (radius) are"
185 mm
160mm

The rotors you have are for 185mm parking brakes.
The following 3 series cars that have this
325xi, 330, 328XI, 328 convertible, 335.
The 328 xi and 328 convertible have this probably due to the added weight that these cars get over the regular cars.

Now for those that have the smaller 160mm shoes, you can still put these on, but you will lose your parking brake feature. Obviously you can do some modification to get these to work.

You can just retrofit larger brake shoes without changing the hub carrier etc. I have seen people weld 335 parking shoes onto 328i shoes and I have also seen people add a spacer ring on the rotor to remove that open space so that there is a contact between the shoes and the rotor.

So havok,
With you being a 328i coupe, the rears won't be straight bolt on (unless you dont care about your parking brake).
Here is a link for a 328i coupe. Notice the diameter 160mm (Too small).
