Anyone selling a radio harness? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Hi fellas.

Just starting prepping for my base system upgrade, got most of the parts ready now, just need a harness!

After some searching I see that Technic offers a harness but doesn't ship out of the US?

Any help greatly appreciated!

I purchased a harness of Technic at the start of the year. Its a shame if he has stopped posting to the uk because his harness is the bomb.It gets you a trigger feed for your amps etc and makes the install so much quicker. Have you pmd him regarding the harness.

Maybe I'm mistaken then, I seem to remember reading he doesn't ship out of the US...

Edit: Is it the base or HIFI stereo you have? Not sure if it makes a difference or not but worth knowing just in case

Also interested in a Harness from Technic and share shipping costs... If anyone can jump in and explain the system I have... lol. I should know this by now having done an audio upgrade on an E90 but this E92 DOESN'T have tweeters.. just the usual 2 front doors, 2 underseat subs and 2 rear door speakers... and it's iDrive (not sure if that makes a difference)..

If your car has no tweeters i would say it's the base system.There is a sticky in the audio section it has all the different systems listed and the best way to upgrade.

You do have a base system complete with that horrible EQ curve which increases the volume to compensate for road noise.

Having an IDrive does make a difference on the version of the harness.

you've got my name down for a base harness prewired for MS8, OE speaker clips, sub cables & speaker Adaptor rings havent you ? Intersted in the group buy

Yes there are different types of harness just let Technic know what system you have and he'll sort you out. I started with the base system used a jbl ms8 to sort the eq curve out.

Hey fellas, sorry for keeping you in the dark... been mad busy the last 2 weeks!!
Managed to make some progress with Technic a few days ago. Passed on all of your system details and got to the stage where:

The Stereo 4/6 (4 outputs and 6 inputs) is the harness with woofer wires separately and jumpers for the woofer connectors.
