Lightbulb Vargas St2B2....

My new VTT Stage 2's just arrived this week and I'm still debating whether to do the install myself or take it to AR in Denver.
I also have a clutch + flywheel I need to install at the same time.
Is it really worth the hassle to do it myself? I don't really have much time, and since it's my only car I'm kind of against doing this in case I mess something up.

Anyone in the area with experience replacing turbos??

Sick!! That sounds like a great upgrade, one I would be very interested in doing once my turbos decide to go. Are you also doing LPFP or HPFP upgrades?

I have heard the install a bit of a bitch, especially if you don't have access to a lift.

The way I have read that works best is to support the engine from the top using one of these http://www.harborfreight.com/1000-lb...bar-96524.html

Then drop the subframe and lower the engine some to get enough room to work. I think its doable for an advanced DIY'er, most of it is just getting access from what it sounds like. However since you say you don't have much time, this might not be something you want to tackle, especially if you don't have a lift or access to one.

I did my clutch and flywheel myself (twice &#128512. It was kind of a pain since I did it in my garage, but is doable

I have access to a shop and a lift. The biggest issue is time, and not having a car. I think it would take me at least 2 days even if someone helped.

I have plenty of experience swapping turbos, clutches, etc. I'm in the springs, but I know the cars well. PM me if you need help, advise or recommendations.

I'm in the springs too. Do you think I could do this all in one weekend?
Could definitely use a hand.

Old thread revival, sorry. Anyway, I upgraded to 2+ and waiting on the VTT inlet sys to arrive and going to throw them all in at the same time.
I will probably make a new thread to track progress.
Only thing left now is an LSD

Turbos and Inlets went in today! Can't wait to fully break them in so I can TUNE!

Looks tight, and it is, but fits perfectly!

Simply awesome. What's your favorite tire company? I'm going to buy their stock.

Geebuz, did you do that job on jack stands or do you have a lift?
