8x Run Flat Tyres and 4x 19 inch MV4 (Style 225) Alloys

Gents,

On Monday my BMW Performance Type 269 Alloys are being refurbed and some new non RFT's are going on.

So, I have my original 4 RFT's, 2 of the RFT's that were on the 269's (2 already sold) when I bought them and the MV4 (Type 225) alloys themselves. So, there are a few bits for sale. I originally posted these with estimated tread and it turns out that there is much more than I previously thought on all tyres. I've also updated the prices to reflect eBay etc.

Here we go:
2x Bridgestone Potenza RFT's 255/30/19 91Y - Both have 5.5 tread - 260

Tyre 1:

Tyre 2:

2x Bridgestone Potenza RFT's 225/35/19 91Y - Approx 5.5mm tread each - 240

Tyre 1:

Tyre 2:

2x Pirelli P Zero RFT's 225/35/19 91Y - Approx 5.5 - 6mm tread - 260

Tyre 1:

Tyre 2:

4 x MV4 (Type 225) 19 inch multispoke BMW Alloys. These came off a late 2009 car and have no cracks or repairs whatsoever. I originally stated that these wheels would need a refurb but in actual fact, two are more or less mint, one has just one notable kerb mark and just one is in need of imminent attention.

Pics below:

Rear 1:

Rear 2:

Front 1:

Front 2:

The wheels are for sale at 550 without tyres.

Currently, the Bridgestone tyres are on the wheels and I have not arranged for them to removed yet, so if anyone wants to buy the alloys with the Bridgestone tyres, I will give you a strong discount to bring the set in line with the usual going rate for this kind of thing. You'd be looking at about 900 for the lot.

I'm open to reasonable, sensible offers of course.

I am based in Leeds, and I can collect/deliver/meet within a limited range of Leeds/Wakefield. The tyres can be posted and I will assist as I can, I would suggest buyers use www.parcel2go.co.uk and choose a Hermes delivery which usually works out at 5 per tyre, but crucially they know where I live so it makes it easy. I can print labels etc for you no problem.

The wheels are collection/meet only I am afraid. Wrapping wheels up for dispatch costs about 30 in packaging alone and is the bane of my life.

Thanks
Matt

Are the tyres sizes correct?

As I thought BMW fitment on these wheels is:
Fronts 225/35/19
Rears 255/30/19

You might be right mate, I will double check. I'll update the original post ASAP.

Whatever they are, they are the 'normal' front and rear offset sizes.

Do you mean the 269's?

I ALWAYS use the Wheel Specialist out Garforth way. Do a quote online and then wait a week or two and they will email you more or less daily with the price dropping in each mail.

I ended up at 391 all inc for these wheels, but for various reasons I still use the Wheel Specialist even though they can be expensive sometimes due to how good a job they do. Diamond cut wheels take an extra day to turnaround as they have to do them off site.

Hi Cobra,

I've just been out to measure them and the tyre which has 8mm in the middle has probably a nats whisker under 7mm on both outside and inside edges (measured in the groove closest to each edge) whilst the 5mm tyre is showing a similar difference, with 4mm even around the inside and outside.

If we can sort something out, I can be at home more or less any day of this week to help with a collection.

Going on eBay tomorrow if no interest.

I am open to offers if the reason there has been little interest is due to price. They do reflect a good saving on current going rate (compared to eBay prices) so I thought they were fair!

I think the fact that you want the wheels collected, no delivery option, significantly reduces your potential buyers

Thanks mate - not sure I agree that is affecting the sale too much though. Most on eBay are the same, but the wheels are cracked and kerbed to hell.

There are still a shitload of tyres to sell too!!

Gents,

This is the last bump before eBay. I have interest in one rear Bridgestone, so if anyone is after just one rear tyre, let me know now and I will split them from the wheels.
