get a tread gauge and measure how much tread you got left. i'm pretty sure your tires are done .

Quick and easy way...

Visually look for cracking on the sidewalls.
Take a penny and stick it in between the tire treads. If the tread doesn't go to the top of Lincoln's head its time for replacement.

If you can't tell whether your tires are shot, please sell the car and ride the bus.

The rest of the motoring world will thank you.

Why isn't this in drivers license exam? And then people blame speeding for accidents

Jam a knife through the tread. The resistance tells you the tread life.

i believe you need same tires to return your lease with acceptable tread life (so they can be used)

Typically I know it's time because I had previously emptied my bank account on something else I needed then all of a sudden I need to poop out another $1,000 on rubber. That's how it goes, usually. And no, I won't tell you my secret on how to shit out money.
