So many intakes... What's the best one?
I'm looking for an intake for my car but since there's such a variety, I don't know which one to choose! Injen and BMS are probably my top two options. Both seem great but is there really a difference between them? Is there a big difference between all intakes for the n55? Anyone that currently has an intake or any experience with them, lemme know which you think is the best.
Thanks

There has been like one million posts about intakes. Personally I wouldn't get any. I have everything done to my car except meth and intake. Intake doesnt do anything other than sound.

I just don't want to deal with having a tank and having to fill it up with meth and stuff lol. I don't know it seems too crazy for me. My car is already really quick.

We don't need meth anymore with JB4 ISO unless you're doing back to back runs, it won't add much power. Maybe with a bigger turbo.

Best intake is stock one! Except you already are fully tunes, then you can get the Alpina (replica) one...

I think BMS claims a power increase from their Intake, but I'm not sure if anyone on the forums has really done a side-by-side of stock and BMS. From what I've read when i was researching FBO parts for my car, and like some here have already voiced, the only real thing that an intake does is give you sound.

Just read this and then decide what or if you want to buy a intake...

I got injen before the BMS one came out. If I could choose today I would get the BMS one, it's cheaper and does the same shit!

The best intake is the one that came with your car!
I just don't get why does everybody keep trying to change them out. All you're doing is adding noise and something cool looking under the hood |

I googled "Terry's Website" and saw nothing regarding BMWs let alone what JB4 ISO is.
