suede interior trim wrap

So I was about to purchase the alcantara steering wheel trim when I thought to myself to go looking for alcantara and wrapping it myself. I have wrapped various BMW interiors with CF Fabric so I figured shouldn't be too bad. Well I couldn't find alcantara but did find some thin suede fabric. Well after a few hours here are the results.

I only have iphone pics for now but will be taking better shots tomorrow.

I plan on scotch guarding it tomorrow.. Thanks for looking and all comments are welcomed.

you can use those anti stain repelant...those are water proof i think...they have one for suede...this will keep it out from dirt... brush it once in a while this will give you an even lines to it...

I appreciate it. I actually went to 3 places looking for alcantara. Since I couldn't find any I ended up getting suede fabric from Joann fabrics. I paid $19 for 2 yards.

Looks very cool. I'd love to do an alcantara wrapped dash one day

I use 3M multi purpose adhesive. It may be a little pain to remove but the backside is also different so it may not be too bad. At least I hope not haha

It took me roughly 4hours. I did one piece at a time. and also took forever to find the torx 10 to remove the ashtray. I ended up having to go purchase another since I couldn't find mines.
