I can't believe Dinan has people chasing a $1 plastic badge by overpaying on thousands in parts. Just amazing.

I keep hearing its the peace of mind of having your warranty in tact... well once your current warranty runs out, BMW will not offer CPO on your car due to Dinan... I have had my Jb4 for over 6 months with 0 issues and going in for service in a week or so.. granted I will be taking the Jb4 off and that is 30 minutes out of my day.

CPO is irrelevant to me. I can sell my Dinan 3 car for several thousand more on a private sale. Js, you have a Dinan car?

Can you guys tell me if the factory oil cooler is sufficient for the stage 2 Dinan? I eventually want to get stage 3, but money doesn't grow on trees...

Its on the website.
I dont remember exactly, it something like
stage 1 flash only ( may or may not require oil cooler?)
Stage 2 more aggressive flash, oil cooler required.
Stage 3 is basicaly all of their larts required( intake, exhaust, intercooler)
And to get the dinan badge you need sonething like 15 points.
LOL dinan is overpriced.

It's all subjective sir. It can be pretty expensive if you screw something up with a piggyback tune as well.

Stage 2 does not require the oil cooler. There is no stage 1 for N55. I'm on stage 2. Not planning on doing anything more. I have KW V1's going in next week
