tech Gearbox fitment question - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Will a '08 plate gearbox fit an '06 E92. 335d

Reason I ask is because my car runs K-Line as opposed to CANBUS which was introduced feb '07.

Also gearboxes were changed around the '08 mark if i'm not mistaken

Any coding required ?

I THINK the gearbox was changed for the LCI models in 2008, not sure which month. It be best to check the part numbers against yours to be certain

sorry to hear about the auto box going, I hope you get it sorted without costing both arms and legs
