Which is what you see in the OP's photo on the right next to the signal strength, I thought he was asking what the pic next to it was with the car and the signal/waves coming off of it.. is that sat/gps reception?

That's the symbol my car displays when it is connecting to BMW assist. Noticed it when I was receiving a message from Google maps.
