Finally got around to taking a proper picture of my whip. I want to start coming out to some events seeing how I just moved to the area. Wanted to share before and after pic:

Got the car in for the a/c issue and apparently there's a leak somewhere in the system so I was given an F30.

lol my car has been at the dealership for the past 2 days for the same problem, they said there was a malfunctioning part that bmw used when they built the car. They put a completely different unit in and it wont have any further problems. The only thing that scared me is they had to take apart the whole entire dash to do it

im not sure, my service advisor said they have been getting a lot of cars worked on for the same problem recently. Part of me wants to just think its because of the heatwave we had a couple weeks ago. All i noticed was the AC wasn't actually cooling anything. It just blasted out regular air all the time.

LOL, that's the same thing my SA told me when I was getting the F30 loaner. I'm going on a drive this Sunday so I hope I get the car back tomorrow. He said it might be the core that's behind the dash. Not digging this F30.

Mine was working much the same way, except the passenger side was getting all the cool air, center and driver side was warm/ambient temperature.

yeah we both have the exact same problem. my SA said the only way to fix the problem was by ripping apart the dash...I miss my e90

Good thing for the warranty. I am doing the flush too for a reduced price so it should a little cooler after the initial repair.

Hmmm that's odd. I know what you mean about the AC putting out outside temp. air. It happened to me on my sis, but then went away and hasn't happened. Cool air good haha.

Thank god I was still under 50k miles. The ac unit repair would have costed $4,000

So apparently they couldn't find the leak so now they have to remove the entire dash to do it. So much for my weekend drive.

Anyone need brand new black floor mats for their E92? They were for my old E92 which I no longer own. Brand new and untouched!

Good news is that I got my car back today. There were two gaskets that were leaking, did the arctic blast for $125 too for faster and better cooling.
