We don't get a lot of variety here in Colorado, mainly Broadtails and Ruffous. Did you get that Saphire in Houston or go on a trip?

I used to live in Trinidad. We would get 6 different types in the yard on a pretty regular basis.

Nice stuff Ralph. Your focus on nature and travel kind of correlates to my photography interests. You've got a few more beautiful ladies in your archive, however.

Your "Scotland" gallery reminds me of my Sets of my trip to Cumbria, Yorkshire and Cotswold, tracing some family roots.

Thanks for taking a look. While I was living in Trinidad, I really got a chance to polish my photography skills as there was lots of nice scenery. While we were living there, we managed to take trips on a regular basis. The Scotland album was shot over 2 days during a business trip.

We do have hummingbirds here in Houston, just not the variety I was used to in TT. Here is a shot from the back yard I took last fall.
