vs stock 2004 terminator (Cobra)

What do you all think. From a roll. I'm jb4 map 5, 60/40 e85/91, DCI, DP's. He is a stock terminator. Sounds like a win on my end?

If it is a STOCK Terminator (those are increasingly hard to find btw); then you should take him easily. They aren't all that quick stock.

However, the car could be 'stock' with a new blower pulley and a tune. Something you'd never see at a cursory glance or even in a deep inspection. And in that case, it really depends on what pulley and tune it's running and how much power you're putting down.

So you're saying a JB4, DCI, DP 335i can't take a stock Terminator? (assuming it being stock is the premise here)

I am with them, I highly doubt he's stock. Theres a guy by me who has one that appears 'stock' but it makes 515whp...

Running a ported "stock" Eaton blower and Bolt-ons put terminators in the HIGH 4xxwhp to low 5xxwhp range. My buddy has a FBO+ Whipple cobra and made 620rwhp /w 93 octane on a dynojet.

Assuming it is stock you'll pull him pretty good. If its just a couple bolt-ons you'll still get him. Anything more than that and it'll go to him.

+1, I ran against my co-worker's with an upgraded pulley and tune... we were neck and neck from 40 to 80, then he started pulling. At the end, put about 2 and a half cars on me. So if he's stock, take him down for me!

I didn't know there were any stock Terminators still in existence. It's like the stock Supra TT.

He claims it is stock, the guy isn't a car junky, he just likes v8's and can read the manual to know he has a supercharged 4.6L under the hood... and that's about it. Could be pullied, etc. Prob has a few bolt ons like most terminators do, but he isn't a KB cobra or anything. Will find out after work. I think we are all aware of how the majority of the population underestimates a modded/chipped 335i. Hopefully I shine some light to that side of the population

I dont expect a kill story to result from this thread. Although it may seem like a numbers game, that 4.6 is no joke. It takes very little to wake them up like the N54. Flip side is a 6k supercharger bolts on 650whp pretty stealth like. Most of the Terminator guys I know personally are pushing 600+ on stock bottom ends on 93 octane no meth, nos, or any other bandaids. Serious about this, the car is a wolf in wolfs clothing.

Go smoke or get smoked... Then post your video... Stop wasting everyones time with stupid my car has bigger tires than yours.

It's like asking everyone if they think your neighbor's wife who showers with the windows open in the morning has a nice set of hooters. Show me the pictures and then I'll tell you want I think... LOL

+1 not sure I've ever seen a stock one LOL

Most termis will SMOKE pretty much any 335i short of a single turbo. IF he is stock you will beat him. They put out 390HP at the crank stock. You're probably pushing 370HP at the wheels so you SHOULD be a stock one, but as everyone on here has said, stock ones are very rare. I'd actually like to buy it if it's really stock

I'd imagine more like 400+ at the wheels with 60/40 e85. +1111 to the post further above.. Post of the year award. Ha..

Send a message via AIM to Jeff@TopGearSolutions
If its really stock you will have no problem beating it.

I had a run in with one when I was 400WHP and I mopped the floor, he had full bolt ons, pulley and tune.

Regarding that posted video....am I the only one here to see this?

wow, how cool... so these guys decided to put others in their street race?? There are other cars all over that video.

SO yeah lets roll and put and put others in our street race. Self-centered "geniuses"...truly....I don't even know what else to say

hell, I'm not even a purist about that stuff...find a good spot with no curb cuts and no traffic and have a ball...if you don't have that...then DON'T RACE!! Get over your Egos and grow up.

if you believe that.... my 03 Cobra 100% stock on a dynojet made 372 hp at the wheels.. taking drive train losses into account, that's about 430 hp at the crank.

(this thread is linked from SVTPerformance)

for the OP, race him and find out..
