Cracked VMR VB3's

I developed a slow puncture in one of my rear wheels, turns out I had cracked the rim and split the rubber.

A week later I developed a slow puncture in the front (same side) and, yep you guessed it, turns out I've not only cracked, but bent the rim and mangled the rubber.

Now obviously I hit the same pothole, but it was so insignificant that I can't even remember doing it!

Any one else had trouble with their VMR's basically being shite???

I'm assuming there is no guarantee on cracking, only finish??

Wow, I was looking at the VB3's as an option. That's put a bit if damper on my enthusiasm. I had heard a few people have problems with the finish and flaking but not heard of cracked VB3's before?

Garage List
Great and popular at first b/c they were first low cost concave wheel to come out but once folks realized how heavy and weak they are, you were better off dumping them. I did the same with my v710's.

Ouch, that doesn't look pretty at all! Have you gone back to the seller? Another option struck off the bloody ever decreasing list of wheel options. Why the hell is it so hard to get decent wheels for E9x's?

Not good to see. I feel for you.

Really odd the near identical way both wheels and tyres have been damaged.

Looks like whatever you hit was sharp to do that kind of damage.
