BMW Tuning in CO springs

Looking for a shop or someone who can tune. Currently running Cobb AP and want a custom map.

Disclaimer: I haven't personally used any of these folks, but I've been doing similar research.

I've heard really good things about Revolutions Performance - they don't do a ton of Euro, but it appears they do tune Cobb for JDM:

http://www.revolutionsperformance.com/

Concours Motorsport is a pretty major Euro tuner, but I've heard less positive things on them:

http://www.concoursmotorsport.com/

But they are probably still worth a call.

How do you like the Cobb at our elevation? Are you going to tune it for E85?

Good luck!

Yeah I just looked them up yesterday too. Don't really know much about them besides what is on their website.

I'm still unsure about the Cobb. At first it was giving me issues when I would make over 15psi. But I downloaded the 4.02 stg2 and its doing ok. The power isn't where it should be though.

Not sure if I want to keep the Cobb or go with something else.

I just want to get as much power as I can on 93.

I'll take a look at that other shop you mentioned, thanks.

Cool - post up if you find out any additional info.

And if you do switch from Cobb, both JB and Proceed have E85 maps (at least in beta) and there are tons of E85 stations around in the Springs. Apparently you can make as much power on E85 as being on meth.

BTW - where are you getting 93 at?

I know - it sucks. But E85 is very prevalent - just a thought.

I may run to Revolution Motorsports one of these days just to get a baseline dyno - if i do, I'll let you know what I think.

Do you have to mix E85 a certain ratio with regular fuel?

Still waiting on a reply from them on a quote for a boost leak diag, and a custom map tune. So, hopefully soon!

There is a ton on JB4/Proceed on E85 (since they both have custom maps for it - most seem to max around a 50/50 mix of E85/91)), but less on Cobb. I'd just ask when you are doing the custom tune.

I dont know if Jeremy (Servion) still tunes at Revolutions Performance, but if he does I would go there. Jeremy did all of my tuning on my Honda (I know what you are thinking, but it put down an impressive 564hp lol) and he is just amazing! Call them up and see if he does.

There is a guy in Longmont, TheBoostCreep (Harvey) and he does incredible work. Longmont is a long way from CO Springs, but he has done GTRs, old classics, tuner cars, BMWs, the works. He could tune e85 for you. Two of my brothers run full e85 set ups (on an Evo and a WRX wagon) during warmer months and 91 during winter and he set up tunes for both of them for both set ups. He even advertises about tuning 335s on his homepage: http://www.theboostcreepltd.com/
(I am not affiliated with him, I just like his service. We have done group dyno days there and it's great.)

Yep - I think he is still there. I went and spent about 20 minutes talking with them on Thursday - super knowledgable folks. I came away very impressed.

Good news, Cobb is coming out with support for alternate fuels.
