My Ride Home Today...

Not a happy ride home either...

Was driving along the parkway, it started to rain, then it started to pour really heavy...

I slowed down, but apparently not enough. All of a sudden the back end kicked out to the right a tad, and I was on ice. I immediately let off the gas and coasted... Was too late, DSC kicked in, and thinking about how slick the road was, it felt like brakes locked up and led me into the guardrail (witch I now own) in a 360 spin for 200-300 yards.

No one hurt, including my self and others. Mentally I'm upset obviously.

Nothing leaking.

She is getting shipped to Solveri NJ asap.

Meh. I need the boost guys.

Thanks everyone for all of the kind support, it really helps! I know its just a car, i am so fortunate it saved my life... Makes me love it even more!

The next day it was shipped to Solveri Collision Center in Point Pleasant. Went and spoke with the owner Anthony about the car. After a minute of speaking with him, I knew I made the right choice where I brought my car. I have to also thank my neighbor for referring me to his shop, because he is the painter there. Knowing how meticulous he is, everything will be spot on.

Allstate called, everything the shop needs is covered. Deductible $100. Rental, covered for 30 days. Turning out to be great!

Ouch dude. Atleast no one was hurt...can always replace a car.

Hopefully it's total'ed...so you don't have to deal with a "once" damaged car.

It won't get totaled. Looks like a new rear bumper, front bumper, hood and maybe fenders. Plus headlights and grille.

Sorry but accidents happen.

Sorry to hear.
Go get yourself checked by a doctor.
The car can be replaced.

This is why I avoid highways when it rains... I always have nightmares of losing control and taking out another car on the interstate :/

That sucks but as long as you ar fine, its all good. Could have been far worse!

The thought of this happening to me scares me... I try to be careful. Was you foot on the accelerator when the back broke out? Were you accelerating or costing? What shape are your tires in?

I lost control on the highway after having been cut off in the rain... did a couple of 360's and hit a guard rail, was hit by two cars, slid into the concrete median in the center of the highway... but was upside down. I was lucky to walk away without more than airbag burn, bruises and some minor cuts from glass.

Your ok, cars are material things that dont really matter. On the bright side you could have an mtech or m3 front and rear, black kidneys and brand new lci headlights. Looks like it will make you mods go easier.

Best part your OK!
