Thanks, apart from losing one to a nail in the second day the eagles are superb tyres, endless grip in the dry and still perform very well in wet. Im the type to keep trying new things but I'll probably buy them again once these wear out.

Hi mate, will do, hoping to do a few.
Got a few big updates but haven't had any time to post them lately, neverending workload!

Having a bit of a 'mare with the audio, everything is fitted but the ms8 isn't working and the installer has had to get on to jbl tech to work out whats wrong with it, theyre quite confused too, its signal is a mess and doesnt turn off, it wont reset and possibly needs to be reflashed. I've had to disconnect the audio completely and will pick things up again on Monday. Hopefully will have it sorted soon.

:-( Sorry to hear that Alex. Doesn't make me too confident about picking mine up since I will have to 'tune' the MS8 myself!

did you make the rear fenders wider to look like M3 or just kept the way it was?

It's stock at the moment, will perhaps do it at some point but its a pretty invasive mod and not one that can be easily undone.

Hi

The MS8 can be a pain to set up once you have done a couple of calibrations it gets easier. Theres stage in the calibration were you use the headphones/mics its really important to remove these before you move onto the next stage. I forgot to do it once and the ms8 started to do crazy things (aeroplane noise they call it in the ms8 thread) and im almost sure it wouldnt switch off. I had to remove fuse in the MS8 for a few minutes and it reset itself. P.S your car looks amazing

Sorry to hear that but there shouldn't be anything to worry about. MS-8's are known to go a bit crazy when steps aren't done in a certain order, for example setting it up with the ignition out. Call me and we can hopefully sort this out.

All sorted
Been round the houses with it but got there in the end. I'm picking up a bit of an earth loop unfortunately and don't seem to be able to get rid, these morel speakers are super thirsty too and so considering another amp which I think would also solve the earth. Apart from that though it sounds amazing, soundstage is really dramatic and the morel speakers are the perfect mix of clear and warm, just driven around till 1am listening to some old cd's like its for the first time.

Cheers for the tip mate, can't explain what had gone wrong but its sorted now, few hours in to jbl, even they said the things are prone to doing pretty inexplicable things during setup.
