:: ECS Tuning :: ECS GEOMET Rotors|The New Standard in Brake Rotors|Free Shipping

We're excited; and with good reason. ECS Tuning proudly introduces our new line of premium, corrosion-resistant rotors: GEOMET. GEOMET is a special coating containing metal oxides, zinc, and aluminum flakes, sprayed over the entire rotor surface to ensure complete coverage, and baked on at 600 degrees to form a durable and attractive silver-gray finish that fights rust far better than paints or other conventional coatings. Slotted or drilled and slotted, you can expect your new GEOMET rotors to outperform and outlast stock rotors, and look great behind your alloy wheels.

You can just pick your favorite pad, personally I EBC RedStuffs (found HERE for the 335), some guys in the office prefer Hawk HPS, and Akebono Euro Ceramics. Pad choice is person preference.

Garage List
Looking to pick up a new set Front/Rear Geomet Drilled/Slotted Rotors. Confusing as there are a couple different part numbers for the same size and config?

I have 2009 BMW 328ix E92 N52 Build Date - 2/2009

As far as I know, the fronts are 312x24 & the rears are 300x20

> Please reply with the correct part numbers I need for drilled/slotted geomets for my app.

> Also, due to the slots/holes - will these tend to wear the factory pads down quicker?

> What aftermarket pad do you recommend for only street driving, pretty much same cold/hot bite, but with lower dusting than OEM pad (if that's possible)?

For your 328xi the drilled and slotted rotors for your car are the ones found HERE. Also just for good measure the slotted GEOMET rotors for your car can be found HERE.

Slotted or drilled or slotted and drilled rotors will cause slightly accelerated pad wear, but it's negligible in most cases. It's not something I typically worry about.

For street pads I'm a fan of EBC Greenstuffs, they are a mild upgrade from the stock pads in terms of bite, are lower dusting, and under normal driving conditions they shouldn't experience fade. HERE is a link to the Greenstuffs for your 328xi. I have a slew of other options avaible HERE.

Also I need some Ebc greenstuff brake pads too. Can you show me where?

I'm running green stuff pads, I'm not really a fan. They work really well after you warm them up, a few good stops. When they're cold, stopping distance is definitely longer. One of the perks though is low brake dust compared to oem. That being said, I'm switching to hawk hps, looking for a bit more bite.

EBC Greens are currently not avaible I'd suggest RedStuffs in place of them if you'd like to stick with an EBC pad. HERE is a link to the rotors for your E90 335i and the EBC RedStuffs in a custom cart.
