Auto box lurching/shunting - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I have just picked up a 330d M-Sport touring which has an annoying habit of lurching/shunting as it comes to a halt, particularly in queuing traffic. Its as if it is clumsily changing into first. It feels a bit like someone has bumped into the car cauin it to lurch forward.

My dealer is in contact with BMW technical to look for a solution, has anyone else had the same problem?

do a search on soft stop. there have been a lot of posts about this
