My MINI is a 2010, you have an '09. Unless you have less than 30k miles, then you should definitely get this done while it's still being offered at this price.

What the normal price for this? If this deal wasn't going on.

I believe it would have been between $500-600.

I've heard South Bay charges over $1000

Can Long get this done when I bring my car down for my Mtech front install? If so then I'm definitely in.

Yes, but all slots must be fulfilled to get the pricing. Can't be unfair and get you GB price for 1 person, with 5 slots to fill still...

What if you buy this deal now, and have it done about few weeks from now? To lock in the group buy rate.

Commit now so I can slot you in the 3rd groupbuy, and when the 10 slots fill, I'll contact each and everyone in the current list and get the deposit in. When all deposits are in, I'll schedule everyone in.

If you want on the list, you can be no.6 and I may have another on the MINI side to reach 7. 3 slots will fill up rather quickly. Most of the scheduling will be Nov/Dec since the 2nd round is taking up most of Oct for their walnut shell blasting.

Just let me know.

Got my car back from LTBMW for the Shell Blast Wednesday drove it for a day and the verdict: THIS IS TOTALLY WORTH DOING!

Throttle response is noticeably improved, power delivery is smoother, it really does feel like a new car again.

Of course, definitely not trying to get an unfair advantage. Put me down for this and I'm sure that I can work the schedule out. Thanks.!

ra2fanatic, would LTMW be able to also to perform a 60k maintenance service on my car at the same time they are blasting my intake valves? This would be really nice if it were possible.

Yes LTMW can definitely perform your 60k maintenance service. Just be sure to let them know you want it done when you drop off your vehicle.

I'm definitely in for this GB!! Great deal from a great vendor. Add me to the list at #38

I have a question though, I need an oil change pretty soon. Would you recommend the blasting before or after? I've read somewhere you ideally want to it before so if you happen to get carbon fragments in the oil you can just change it out. Not entirely sure I read that correctly though. Any thoughts?

Thanks

The guys there at LTMW will know the right answer. So if you also need an oil change, let them know when you need the service performed and they will do it the right way the first time.

Well I did mine at 40k miles and my friend did his around 35k. It's up to you if you think you need it. I'm not going to push you towards getting this done. You should get it done eventually though and after you've got it done, install an oil catch can.

Most MINI owners I know have one and it helps with carbon buildup. I have a aquamist meth/water kit after I had the service done so this is how I prevent future buildup. It's not going to fully prevent the buildup but it will slow it down and clean the valves as you drive.
