What is MDrive option coding on 335i? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Hi,
I was going through E92 335i coding files and I saw MDrive option.

I have activated it and it gives following options in iDrive now
default
400P
500P
500P Sports

I just wonder what is it?

I am not sure if this is related to trubo pressure or actual horse power.

Can somebody explain what is it?
And does it work on E92 335i?

I was wondering the same thing,
i found this code :

DSC_OFF_CIC

set it to active but i don't see anything in my idrive. Can anyone confirm ?

Those options are only there for the M series, they don't do anything to the 335i.

I felt there was slight difference but that was subjective and I was wrong then.

This adds "DSC Off" to the M Drive menu in an M car. From the factory, US M cars have the option to set DSC to On or MDM for the M button on the steering wheel. Changing this adds the option of Off to the menu so that you can program your M button to turn DSC off.

Changing this does nothing to your DSC; it only makes a menu option available and only in a car with the M Drive menu.
