Bmw Nav isn't the greatest out there, but it works.. I would def get Nav.. also traffic update is cool

Wish I had Navi...atleast the updated version of Idrive..not the early version. But Since you are looking into a 09+, I would def consider it!

I wish I had the nav. Wasnt a deal breaker since I picked it up at a steal. Will probably trade in for a 4 series when that comes out. That one will be fully loaded for sure!

The nav is nice, but I'd say not a necessity especially when iOS6 comes out with full navigation in maps. Just my 2 cents.

Dude you need nav. Don't listen to people saying its ugly. I think it makes the damn car. If it didn't have it, it would look like a normal ass car from the interior.

I've had the non HD idrive in my 08 and HD in my 12 and I can't live without it. Non navi cars are way too boring plus it's the 21st century. Corollas have navis nowadays.

I have nav and I like it... but sometimes I think I need to have my Garmin in the car too. I wish the BMW nav would recognize my home address! Tempted to stop by dealership and try inputting it into a new car to see if an update will fix, but my house was built in the 60s... Also disappointing that I can't upload my POI file with the traffic camera database (those of you who drive in DC and MD will understand) and that there is no speed limit display.

Retrofitted an OEM navi in my old A4 (got to love eBay sellers from Eastern Europe).

Ordered it for my old C300 - despite the sales person saying, "Why don't you use those suction cup ones and save a few grand?" My answer, "Don't like things cluttering my windshield and I like all the extra features that come with the navi option".

Ordered it with my current E90. Funny thing though, the head unit had to be replaced because I got the red startup screen and the DVD drive not reading my DVDs. Not sure how common this is, but mind you my E90 was in an accident.
