z4 m roadster and coupe

ive been following the prices on these cars lately and they seem to have been hit particularly hard with the depreciation hammer. there are many 1 yo, <5000km examples for about $105k. or thereabouts. look on drive.com.au or carsales.com.au

what gives. i thought they were supposed to be pretty good. has anyone had any experience with these cars, and which one would seem like the better car, roadster or m coupe?

I am selling my 2003 Z4 2.5l (non M) with only 40000km on the clock for half the price you looking at. You can put a ESS supercharger kit for $15k and get the same amount of power.

Welcome to a full employment environment. Our prosperous economy coupled with a smorgasboard of great new cars means nobodys buying second hand. Expect to throw away about half the cars value in 4 years for a luxury end vehicle and you'll do half your money in 2 years on an Aussie made Ford/Holden.

Unfortunatly a sign of the times. The local car manufactures will be almost non existant shortly. Great proffits for importers at the moment while the exchange rate is in their favour but you won't see them discounting the cars. Expect them to throw in more options and accessories for free or special deals on finance to hook you in. This also effects the perceived value in used cars without the added features diminished.
