CCC to CIC retrofit...finally!!!!

I am new to this forum (better late than never) and I have been reading several posts regarding the CCC to CIC retrofit. I have an 08 e93 and I am ready to bring my baby out of the dark ages. I have been in contact with Patryk and I am close to making my purchase. My last hurdle is trying to get a center console trim (fine-wood trim poplar grain) that will fit the new controller. Does anyone know where to get this part or have any other suggestions? Thanks

You can get any part at the dealer.

But eBay would be a better deal.

The e93 CIC center trim is hard to come by used. The dealer would be the best option. You can use your CCC controller with the new system. You will just be missing the shortcut buttons.

They are a couple of the CIC trims on eBay. Slowly but surely the E90 LCI are being totaled by the kids that are inheriting them as first cars. So you will see a surge in 2009/2010 E90 interior parts on eBay or the Junkyards.

Retrofit done!!!

This has been a long and fun filled journey. I am glad I did it and definitely pleased with the results. I would like to thank Patryk, Andy, and Jacob for their exceptional work. I have enclosed a few pics but have several more if anyone is interested.
