Question How to test if a speaker is broken (Logic7)?

It sound to me like my music is shifted to the right these days (even though the balance setting is right in the middle, of course)...

How should I diagnose? Obviously since there are 13 speakers it's a lot harder to isolate what's going on...

I did also try moving the balance from left to right and listening to the speakers individually, but it's tricky.

There must be a test plan at the dealer for this... anyone know?

Thanks!

What's so tricky? Fade to the front, then shift the balance to the left. Open the door and put your ear up to each speaker. Then repeat on right.

Thanks... yeah I tried this but it still sounds imbalanced to me. Maybe it's just psychological though... I will repost if I have more data.

I thought I had a blown speaker. There was some distortion suddenly with low bass but it didn't sound like a normal popping blow. Turns out there was a piece of tinfoil under the seat vibrating lol. Saved me a lot of hassle

Sorry to jack your thread but I'm worried my right side door speaker is blown and I have Logic 7..where can I get a replacement for it? Does it have to be Logic 7 or can it be another brand?

Keep an eye on the for section. They pop up from time to time, for example:
Speaker Sale
Or look for the guys upgrading to the BMS system.
Finally, www.getbmwparts.com will have it for sale. Just follow the links on their site for you car and to navigate to the proper blow-out
