UUC Segmented Kevlar Clutch

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None
Item Interest
I went to install this clutch and my mechanic tells me that the flywheel is shot so I went ahead and ordered a different clutch/flywheel kit.
This clutch is still in my car I have been babying it to break it in, have done about 150 miles so far. Once my other kit comes this clutch will be out of the car and I will take some more pics of it but it will just about be broken in so that saves you from having to drive easy for 500 miles.

Asking $550.00 shipped

so are you saying this clutch is still slipping? cause if you have been driving on this clutch for 500 miles plus on a slipping kevlar clutch i heard its not good for it as it will no regain its clamping power once the face is too slick. i think organic is would be ok but hopefully someone with more knowledge can chime in as i need a clutch very soon.

i have also wondered how the engagement of the UUC segmented disk is. Can it be slipped at all? Or does it just bite and grab?
