M Double Spoke 19" Rims

Hi guys

What do you think of these rims - thinking of them to replace my 18" M sports rims. Bit worried though as have heard bad things about BMW OEM 19" rims and cost of tyres. Could pick them up in excellent condition used for $1400 without tyres.

Appreciate any thoughts...

Go for it if you like it - seem like a pretty good price for OEM wheels!

Price of tyres are not that much different to 18s IMO and plus just buy it from tirerack

225Ms look good on E90s - shame they didn't make it an option to start with.

You'd probably need about $4-500 to get these repaired to an excellent standard, however they do come with Tyres and I am negotiable.

They're the wheels I have, and if they hadn't come with the car I purchased I'd have bought them. I like the OEM look, and they're my favourite.

Hi guys

Thanks for your feedback it is very much appreciated. Need one little bit more bit of help - does anyone have a rough idea of tyre cost for these rims as they are 19" and I would like to keep RFT I think?

I understand they might be cheaper from the USA but I was wondering if you had a sense of the purchase cost in Australia.

I saw the other ones that were for sale on here which included tyres but the condition of the rims doesn't excite me.

Thanks...

Stuart has some prices here, but not sure if they are from Australia.

Garage List
2011 BMW 320d  [0.00]
2007 BMW X5 3.0d  [0.00]
these wheels look great, except they look a bit like the older E36 ///M3 10 spokes. personally i'd prefer the 313s over these.

Style 225M wheels have a well known issue of cracking.

+1 on 313 wheels. They're the best looking BMW OEM wheels IMO.

Hi

Thank you for your guidance...I have decided not to get them and keep an eye out for some BMW OEM Performance rims instead. No point buying rims that are prone to cracks.

Thanks again...
