Anyone use a +22 rear wheel offset on their e90?

Sorry for another thread with this question. But a friend is selling his avant garde 310s off his e46 M3 for dirt cheap. I want to buy them and I know the fronts will work. But the rears I believe are a +22 offset which would make them pretty aggressive. And Im not sure they will fit on my car. I am lowered on KW V1 coilovers. Has anyone on this forum done this with these size wheels? They are 19x9.5 rears and I believe +22 offset. I want to make sure it will work before I get tires and buy the wheels. THanks everyone.

i doubted it will fit without fender rolling, that's like having a 28mm spacer on a stock 19x8.5 et37 (or 31mm spacer on a 19x8 et 34)

I was hoping I could get away with not rolling the fenders but it seems it will have to be done. DO you think using a 255/30 rear tire instead of a 265/30 will solve the rubbing issue?

I'm pretty sure you'll be fine. I'm running 19x9.5" ET18 rear with 265/30 tires and I have absolutely no rubbing with a mild fender roll. For sure you'll be safe with 255.

Do you have any pics youd be able to send me so I can take a look? If so my email is woptang22@yahoo.com
It seems as if Im getting mixed answers from everyone I ask. Ive also emailed companies that sell the avant garde 310s , some say it will work, some say its too aggressive. Is your car lowered at all and are you driving an e90? I know the 265/30 is recommended, but if I dont need to, Id rather stay away from fender rolling. Thats why I suggested 255/30. But in your opinion, do you think Id be ok with 255/30s, wheels with offset +22, a lowered car, and no fender rolling? I just dont want to go buying the wheels and tires if it wont work. I can mount the rim itself to see how it looks, but I wont be able to lower it to the ground since theres no tires. So Im assuming I wont get an accurate look at how close to the fender they will be.

Wow really? Would you be able to send me some pics? What size and kind of wheels are they? Also how wide? I have a pre LCI . Are your fenders rolled? If you have pics could you send them to woptang22@yahoo.com
Id love to see how they look. Those 245s must really be stretched? Do you think 255 would work or would I be pushing it?

Im assuming Id be ok then with 19x9.5 rears ET22 with 255/30/19 tires? Im just a bit nervous to go buy all this then the rears rub.

rear wheel is 18x9.5 +22 volk te37SL

I have my fenders rolled to accommodate a 255 tire but i changed to 245 and no issues with clearance without fender roll. just dial in some camber.

depends what 255 tire they are. i had Michelin Super sports and they run wide so it didn't work.

I have 9.5 rears +34 with 12mm spacers, lowered on H&R sport coils, with 265's no problems.

MY previous setup was VMR 710 with the rears being the exact same (19x9.5; +22). I ran 245/35/19 Yokohoma S-Drives on H&R sport with no adjustment to camber or fender and I would only rub on medium-large dips or if I'm turning up/down ramps at fast speeds. It won't take much adjustment, if any , to run those specs.

The wheels my friend is selling are 19s not 18s. Im guessing that will probably make a big difference? So Id be looking at 19x9.5 +22. If I get the 245/30 tires should I be ok? Isnt that a big stretch for the tire or is it fine?

So in your opinion I should just go for the wheels? Also you say you ran 245/35/19, Id be running 245/30/19 or 255/30/19 so Im guessing Id have a little more play then your 35 series tires? Im only trying to get these wheels because my friend is selling them really cheap. I currently have 19in ICONZ 960s with black centers on my car but they are for the summer. I also have the OEM style 162s painted black. I bought the car with the stock 162s painted black so Im not really digging them anymore. So with the AG 310s I was looking to do something crazy as far as powder coating and color. So I just want to make sure Im not wasting money on wheels that wont fit.

19x11 et 20 with 265/30/19 rolled fenders, lowered to where tire tread is level with rear fender, still got some room to work with. You'll be fine, just get a minor roll to reduce the probability of rubbing with extra weight in your car

I have a 2011 e90 with 19x9.5 +22 in the rear and it rubs so much even with the fenders rolled. I'd like to lower my car, but I can't imagine how bad the rubbing would be then ..

What size tyre? You have rubbing issues, because your car is e90 lci which has 8mm wider rear track than pre-lci e90. Basically your 19x9.5 et22 is the same as 19x9.5 et14 would be on pre-lci e90.

You could add more camber, go with narrower tyre and possibly do some fender shaving. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...&postcount=319

245/30 is a little shorter than stock. 245/35 is a little taller than stock. Is there a reason you want to use 245/30? I would rather have taller tires than shorter tires.

255/30/19 - I ended up doing all of the above, added some negative camber and shaved a bit of the fenders. Now I only rub on hard bumps.
