What would you get? Ive been thinking about selling the 135 and picking up a new toy when i move back to America. Has to be RWD or AWD. maybe something semi-new, with good performance/potential. Id like something fairly uncommon. Budget is 25k.

Ideas?

ive considered an elise/exige, but the aftermarket for them is so expensive, it makes bmw look cheap.

Well then I know you said fairly uncommon but I think an E46 would fit the bill perfectly. Really good quality aftermarket parts can be had for very reasonable prices and used products are everywhere, in real good condition also.

FR-S if you had to get something brand new. You'll honestly have the most fun in a car you buy for cheap, swap in a motor and everything else so it's exactly to your liking. There's also that feeling that you built that car - it's second to none.
