CPO 328i M-Sport .. Whats a good price to pay?
Been in market for a 3-series and found this one right in my budget.
It's a CPO 2009 328i with the following options 26,000 Miles Le-Mans Blue M-Sport Package Fold Down rear seats Xenon Lights Navigation Logic 7 It's missing the Premium Package which is a big deal but if I can get it for the right price I'm willing to look over the fact The dealer is asking 29,995 which I think is crazy high since its missing the Premium Package. What should I really pay? ![]() |

IMO Xenons and sport package are a big deal, not a garage door opener and power mirrors oh yea and the compass lol, but i will say no power seats in a bmw is kind of ghetto unless it was an option they added on the build sheet so hopefully it has them. If there asking 29995 id tell them you want it for 27 or 28 out the door. Also remember that eventho it doesnt have premium it does have m sport, nav, logic 7, and xenons. None of which are that standard on 328's

Expand your search to 2011 non-CPOs with low mileage (even from non-BMW dealerships). Should still have the same amount of warranty left as a CPO (only better cause its original warranty with free maintenance) . I spent 6 months looking for 2009 CPO and ended up buying a fully loaded 2011 (m-sport/premium/nav) with lower mileage and 3 years warranty for the same price.

Trust me I'm using every resource I can find. Recently changed my mind and decided to change my sights on a 328i and just bite the bullet on a 335i. The smile on my face when I turn on a 335i will more than make up whatever more I pay for one

Remember, if it's a CPO'd, you have to factor in another $1500-2000 in the price compared to buying a similar year/mileage car from a private party. Granted, you don't have to purchase an extended drivetrain warranty, but sometimes there's a price for peace of mind.
And as you know, there's not a ton of pre-owned 3 series out there for sale with Msport and 6-speed manual transmission. I am sure the dealers know that too and are using that as their bargaining chip. I've heard some members on here searching for over 6 months for that Msport with manual transmission. And if you do happen to find one, it may be across the country.....another potential headache.

I live in NJ and took a one way flight yesterday to Buffalo to pick it up and drive it home. Great way to test out the car on some mountain roads.

Hey Guys,
I'm new to BMW's and excited to get one. I have been looking into 09 328xi's for about $26,500-$28,500 with about 35,000-45,000 miles some with many options and some just base models. The other day, I saw on a dealer lot an 08 328xi fully loaded except navigation with 30,000 miles for $25,000. I guess my questions are what are the main differences between the 08 and 09 models? What would you guys prefer in choosing and if there is a big difference the price and the models? Thank you for the responses. |

i found a 2010 CPO 335i w/ m-sport, premium, navi and 17k miles for 37k. Given the low mileage and 1.5 year of original warranty left, is it worth 37k?
Also how often have people used their CPO warranty? Debating if i should look outside of CPO cars. |
