Where does this belong??

So I popped the hood the other day and found this clip sitting right on the serpentine belt pulleys.

I have no idea where this clip is supposed to mount, or even what it is for. All I know is that it is just dangling in front of a bunch of moving parts and thats not good.

Any ideas where it is supposed to be mounted?

It's for the 50 caliber automatic machine guns mounted in the front. Did yours come with that option?
Sorry, I don't know, but it would be nice when a Prius is holding up traffic.

From the pic, it doesn't look like a sensor...

Any chance does it look like this and possibly should be fastened at the fan shroud, driver side?

This is looking down onto the outside of the fan shroud, driver side. It seems to be fastened into place with a clip. The wires run up along the top of the fan shroud underneath the air intake and are held in place with a couple of wire looms.

There it is, I found the winner! The fan shroud fell off and the wires stayed intact. Thanks dude!
