I listed the upgrades above. Let me know if that helps or if there are more details you are looking for.

I can't tell anyone what they should run on their car. I have only experience on my car with the mods I have done. I can say that I am very pleased with my ASTs and mods I have done on this car with the power I am running. The car tracks well and straight and connects the power incredibly well.
Great review FBIS! How is the grip on turns etc, as in do you feel you'll need to widen your rear end in the future or do your tires stick reasonably with your current setup?

I am sure I would eventually snap my halfs, so I upgraded. To me it assures me that my car won't be down for mods I could do ahead of time. That was my thinking all along.

Supracg135, thank you! I am not sure a wider rear is necessary. I am finding that a good tire makes a huge difference in how the car operates. I am able to power through corners well right now with the suspension mods / tires I have. I am actually really pleased.

FBIS - Just an awesome review ! You and Alpina are the best bar none.

What a machine you have there. I didn't really hear any wild spinning or smoking of tires either, either that was fabulous driving, or you are getting 654 hp to the road with 500 tq. That is amazing and a true testiment to the platform.

Wow ! Congratulations Vishnu/FFTEC.

DaFish, thank you very much. I agree too that Alpina writes great stuff!!!

I feel I really have the suspension and rubber dialed in very well on my car now. The videos should show how well I am putting the power to the ground. It is really amazing that I can hook 2nd now with the R888 tires!!!

Thanks that's what I was suspecting, I'm sure you can't just throw this kit on a stock suspension/drivetrain car. I'm surprised no Toe arms. I've had coilovers for over 2 years now and though it tracks straight I'm having to replace the tires a bit early due to uneven wear as my toe settings are maxed out in the rear for the height I'm at.

I would get toe arms, but I am not convinced the options are great right now. The Megan still use rubber bushings and the RE spherical joints are prone to quick failure. I am hoping someone comes out with a better option.

With respect to putting this one a stock car, I am not sure why you can't? The truth of the matter is we are in the "process" of building our car. I don't know what order is the correct order to do things. What I consider a must, you may not.

Wow that is the best sounding N54 by far. Holt shit that video I can watch over and over again. Hopefully this can address all the people regardless of fanboi or not, that Vishnu indeed has introduced a great single turbo upgrade, and for those of us who can only wish we can have this upgrade on our cars, FBIS with this thread at least we can appreciate through the video how powerful it is. Great job bro

Nice intro review. I'm eager to read and learn more.

The exhaust microphone is great. Your car sounds sick!

Two solutions: NHBB rod ends or custom modified BMW arms. M3 arms actually flex slightly under load, and the typical jam-nut secured toe link is exceptionally hard to get perfect alignment. Just the slack in the threads is enough to throw the adjustment right out of its tolerance window. A turnbuckle with ends that clamp the threads, same as the front tie rod adjustment, would work much better.

Figuring out the rear suspension on the E9x is a bit science, a bit black art. I've dabbled...

Who can do the work? I would considering upgrading, but I am not convinced the options are good.

FBIS - Now that the full review is out, can we see the spool times 2k, 3k, and 3.7k in 3rd? I think that would be more meaningful lag data.

Starting 3.7k in 2nd gear you are full spool by 6,000rpm...

I will try, but please understand this has been a 5 month process. I am ready just to drive my car without a laptop in the passenger seat.

You are local to us. Why don't you swing on by the shop sometime and go for a drive in a 650whp single turbo and see for yourself if your concerns are valid?

Again...FBIS...your review thread is simply amazing! Enjoy the power in good health! I am definitely enjoying mine

p.s what size are those filters on your Forge DV? I bought mine from k&n but filters are too big, almost looks like DCI
