Cabin air not working..a tiny tiny bit.

FYI...I did a search didn't find anything. I'm sure you're awesome and you found it good job, but I'm at my wit's end with my POS E90. Everything fucking breaks on these cars.

Sooo...here's what's going on. No air comes out of my cabin air. I still get heat..a tiny tiny bit. I get AC a tiny tiny bit. But that's it. No matter what setting I put it on it just won't go. Should I take it to the dealer? Try something myself, if I find someone with a similar problem? Thanks in advance!

Failed blower motor probably. It lives behind the glove box

Or it could be a failed final stage resistor - a common problem on the E46. Dealer just replaced the one on my 128i for $480 parts, tax & labor.

Sounds like the blower motor. Any weird noises or does it just not produce cold air? I wouldn't take it to a dealer since they'll jack you on the diag. I would take it to a reputable independent shop for a diag. Which part of CA are you from? If you're near my area there's a shop that I can recommend. They've fixed a bunch of shit that broke on my E90...

Check the fuses associated with the HVAC system also.

No noises, limited air pushing out. My car eventually gets warm with the micro surge of hot air that comes out. I haven't paid to much attention to my AC. I live in Northern California. What's the part number for the motor? Is it a hard install?

Also, thanks everyone for your responses! Good birthday present!

Before you replace it check the leads on the power supply plug with the ac on max for voltage to be sure it isn't a wiring/ihka fault.
