i wanted it to sit flush with the front of the car so it wouldn't scrape or crack on a bad bump. I had them just make straight cut on the back edges about 2" so i could push it back more

nothing too difficult. any competent body shop should be able to do it in 30 min

Any update on splitters? Or any kind of lip? I curbed up my lower bumper on the drivers side so I might try out the v style lip from eBay to see if I can get it to fit....

Is that the same one that u have? Or is the one a little more "aggressive". Cause urs doesn't looks to aggressive in the pic

the one i just linked to is sharper and thinner. so i guess yeah it's more aggressive looking

Just to let you guys know, a little while back I tried on an authentic GTS lip on my 335 -(looks like this ). It does not fit, it's not even close. The M3 lip contours way more.

This is not a lip IMO just looks like a cheap add on that doesn't flow at all with the bumper. The GTS one above is a lip which actually has shape and contour. I would kep searching dude

So I'm still kinda confused here. Do the lips for the OEM M3 bumpers fit the replica M3 bumpers with little to no modification? I agree with project335i that the above is not a great example of a lip. If no one has tried this yet, I'm about to purchase one on ebay and see if it fits...
