New/Used 335d

So I am excited to say that I am finally a 335d owner. Ever since Nov 2011, when I first test drove this car I have been on the hunt.

This is my 3rd diesel, 90 VW Jetta TDi and an 06 VW Jetta TDi.

It is a 2011 with the M Sport Package and Nav.

Attached are the pics.

Congrats, looks great! People always look at me like I'm crazy when I say I gave up a 335i to get the d. This car puts a smile on my face every time I drive it, in a way no gasser can. Here's to many amazing miles.

I think I want an exhaust. I need some more tone when I kick it.

Congrats, but don't get your hopes up to high that exhaust is going to offer much of an improvement in the sound dept.

Congrats!

Won't a straight pipe from the cat-back help in the noise department? Been thinking of doing that.

I like yours I felt it added some tone. I love the extra growl you got when you started it.

How does it sound when you kick it?

If you don't mind me asking how much did it cost?

It certainly adds somre more tone (because there was NONE before). I guess the point I was trying to make, don't expect the results of a gasoline car or anywhere close.

The deeper tone/growl is more prounounced at the lower RPM. I notice it in the cabin when I am driving around in DS mode at around 2k to 2500 RPM. It's also ligheter than the stock system. The other benefit that I still need to verify is that I expect to a few ponies added - need to put it back on the dyno this fall.

Got my first mod well not really a mod but something.

Picked up some winter tires and rims.

Smart man. You definitely need winters for the D. I bought winters last season and keep them on my 17" OEM wheels. This spring I bought summer tires and went with 18" after market wheels. I plan to swap them seasonally.
