Sounds like you might be.

I'll be cruising thru Bakersfield next week in mine. We stop at Dewar's for black & whites (and chews) when heading down to Palm Desert.

Not Bakersfield...but close!

I live in Porterville...it may have been a ghost town at one time but I got here in 1995 and it's getting more populated. Not much culture but at least the weather is nice...I'm originally from South Jersey

Nice weather? Yet right......nothing compare to Southern California! Too hot in the summer....and too cold in the winter! I left town in 1991 for college....and never gone back!

Porterville Resident

I hear you but you have to appreciate where I came from. In a nutshell, I just got tired of shoveling snow and going to school and work worrying about black ice. After too many years of that crap the central valley never looked so good

I bought my car from BMW of Bako. Actually, my parents live there, and I visit every once in a while! I've been seeing more and more BMWs there, so it'e quite exciting. I hope to run into you someday!!

I'm getting close to purchasing a 335ci, maybe a few of us Bakersfield owners can get together afterwards?

Talking

Just ordered an E90 335i 6m/t for ED 5/19. So it looks like there will be one more Bako bimmer on the forum. Now if I can just make it quicker than my E36
M3 I'll be happy!

You guys in Bakersfield are lucky. Willow springs is right below you and Buttonwillow is above you i have to drive 2 hours just to get to Willow Springs and thats without traffic!

I cruise by there on the way to Lake I and my dad's cabin, but we normally take the farm roads from Grapevine, not 99.
