e90 lci headliner removal

I need to access under the headliner in my e90. I've searched the topic time after time and seem to only find guides on how to remove the headliner for e92's. Any ideas or guides?

Why do you need to remove the headliner?

there is a small dent right above the door in between the B and C pillars. I was hoping to open it and be able to just knock it out but now that I have done a little more research on the frame it doesn't seem like this will happen. Any ideas or should i just take it to a body shop?

I don't have it in front of me but I'm FAIRLY certain that I've seen the procedure covered in the Bentley manual. Maybe someone who has a copy handy can chime in and let me know if I'm wrong. Otherwise I'll check for you when I get home tonight.

I have seen my headliner completely removed at the body shop (roof replacement). If the area you're trying to access is where I think you're talking about, there are airbags there (they basically flank the entire roof of the car). I would be cautious of this.

yah I was able to remove the headliner but like you mentioned the airbag is there. I figured its best not to mess with that and let a professional handle this one.
