Best labor rates from Indy shops ?
Just curious to know who offers the best labor rates from our local BMW Indy shops ? I've heard of rates from $90 and up. So from our forum members that have used Indy's,feel free to post the most current labor rates and which shop was used, website, etc. I figured this might help some of our members.

Actually I know what you mean, but this particular shop specializes on BMW and was recommended by a buddy of mine, and its always full of BMW's.

There's only two places near me that I know of. One charges 65/hr but they seem to be more muscle car oriented. I didn't have them do anything on my car. The other one specializes in Euro cars and charges 85/hr.

We charge $95 per hour. ///Motorcepts inc. We specialize in bmws. Of course e90post members will get specials. At the end of the day, it is not how much you are charged per hour; it is how many hours you are charged. Feel free to contact us for all your bmw needs.
Thanks John |

There's nothing more expensive than a cheap mechanic.
I've seen rates from $85 - $125.

The shop I own specializes in Subies and we charge $90/hr. As was posted above, it isn't the hourly rate or even the hours they charge for, it is the quality of the work and if they stand behind their work. We usually charge for actual hours worked on the cars, but we have also devised our own fixed pricing for certain items we've done 100s or even 1000s of times.
