335d - Cutting out and Injector issues

Had an issue with my 335d - Started under hard acceleration the car just cut off and engine died - would never restart again on the first attempt (would continuously turn over), but start easily on the second - the fault codes (haven't got them off hand at the minute) indicated the injector no. 4. Problem kept getting worse and worse until car wouldnt idle without cutting out.

This was replaced - car drove perfect for about 10 minutes and then cut out again. It is now indicating a problem with injector no. 6!!!!! Issue got worse over the space of an hour to the poin the car cant be drove - it will idle without dying though.

I cant keep replacing parts and getting nowhere - but should injectors 4,5 and 6 be replaced together as they are of the same bank??
If not what is the likely solution? Any ideas welcome.

There is loads of these issues over the internet but no solutions posted!!!!

Called him - total gentleman and seems very educated. Pity his diagnostics wont let him control me remotely (as i am based in northern ireland). He gave me a good few pointers to try. The car hasnt been drove for approximately 1 year - so he advised a new fuel filter and fuel to rule out moisture. Could possibly be alternator spiking and causing and increase in voltage and therefore shutting injectors down. Ill try them things and then have a look at wiring etc.
Thanks for you recommendation

Drained all fuel from the car today and fitted a new fuel filter.
Also fitted a new battery. Tested the car, and it was fine when cold, but once it started heating up the same problem returned.
I then tried unplugging the alternator and letting the car go on battery power - problem was still there.
So that is fuel, filter, alternator and battery all ruled out.
All injector wiring etc looks fine.
Its weird it doesnt happen when the car is cold.

He has told me to try and replace the injector now.
So will order one and get it fitted asap. He is very knowledge and would have no doubt over his ability.. just a pity I am not closer!
Thabks for your help.

No worries ! The car not running for a year probably has not helped maybe the diesel went funny with a full year of not being used ! and messed with some of the injectors ? Glad it's on the mend ! Paul knows his stuff ! I drive 115 miles to use him !
